zafman fitted the 2.4 fannymold at the weekend, not too many probs once i removed the brass hole reinforcements. (popped them back when butted upto the head)not sure about performance yet but it sounds like...well i dont really know but i like it!! i did a couple of performance tests the other day 50-70 in 3rd 5.2 secs 50-70 in 4th 9.5 secs 50-70 in 5th 12.1 secs  also had 0-100 times from a trip to elvington 23 secs(stop laughing its a bus!) so when the ecu has settled down i'll get the new times and post some comparissons
vocky congrats, is this the first zaf with a 2.4 inlet manifold ? it should work well with your mods 8)
zafman done a couple of hundred miles now with the 2.4 fitted, getting used to the way it feels...it is quite different in its delivery. First theres more pull between2k-3k then no surge at 4k but feels strong round to the red line had a little test the other day and the figures from 50-70 maybe a little quicker but not much.I'll try again at a later date
zafman well still a little confused as to what gains this mod has given me notsure.gif most of the time it doesn't feel any quicker but in 1st it just tears up the tarmac.in the wet i can't even gradually open the throttle to build up the revs,as soon as i get near 4k and try to put my foot down the tyres just spin. the other gears even 2nd don't seem to pull like before but only a power run will tell me for sure i suppose
Sjdickso I thought after our last outing me and you had given putting our motors on the rollers . It could be the fact that yours is mapped, it seems cars that have been mapped seem to not like the 2.4mani as cars with a standard map dunno..
zafman yes i know what you mean about going back on the rollers si! not thought about the fact mines been mapped...i'm going to leave the 2.4 on for a while, maybe pop down to well lane over winter if curiosity gets the better of me
