Day 1 again

Day 1 again of making my car into the newer shape Vectra C. So far I have the passenger wing, both headlights, front bumper. Parts I still need are, bonnet, drivers side wing, dash and airbags. :think: . I will have the bonnet this week and new wing from the dealer :crazy: . Then it's into the body shop.........

2 Weeks lol. I have taken 2 weeks off work to try and get it all done.

Well as you can now see it's going to be new shaped all the way :thumbup: . I now have all the parts, just short of the grill and front bumper grills and spotlights 😃 .

What grill should I go for?

I would go with the top one with the little badge

Although, the other one would look good as well, because you have the chrome strips on the windows as well. Would keep it tied in with the sides and the rear, without being too bling

I am trying to think what the grill would look like on a red Vectra for the choice of the two above. The top one is cheaper lol

Parts Delivery

Some parts for my car came today :thumbup: . The headlights, foglights, Irmscher grill all came today 8) .

Looking good Mark. Don't forget to change the wipers for some flat blades as well to finish the look off.

I actually found out today that the flat wipers were never fitted as standard to any Vectra C, as I went to buy some new ones today from my local VX dealer. They are the same as the ones you fit to the MK4 Astra, and come as part of a fitting kit. Collecting them tomorrow anyway, with a nice trade club discount 😃
