Unfortunately, it excludes all M - Manchester, L - Liverpool, OL - Oldham & SK1-12 - Stockport postcodes and Northern Ireland.

No Matt, i got £418 as a best quote, that was with swift, but i went with Aplan for £440, adrian flux or chris knott couldnt touch it, AF wanted £750!!!!!

Out of interest why the exclusions for the above postcodes? I'm within one of the SK areas and its not rough at all around where i live and my car is always in a locked garage anyway.

It's just due to the historical claims stats within those postcodes. Obviously, not every driver will have an accident, theft, etc, within those areas but the insurers have been stung badly in those regions.

Strangely, I've seen other brokers have the same restrictions recently.

The scheme really took off in 2008 - better than we expected - so thanks to those of you who insured on it.

We look forward to being of service in 2009 as well.

We've had a good start to 2009 already, even better than last year which was an exceptional year for us.
