Polish/Wax Applicator Pad care

What's the best way to look after the foam polish/wax applicator pads?

I seem to be getting through these quite quicky, and they seem to re perishing/falling to bits after a few uses. I don't clean them at the minute, as I don't know what to use on them, I just put them away in a plastic zip bag.

Haven't used the foam ones for ages, tend to use the microfibre applicator pads which can go in the wash at 60 degrees.

IIRC i used to rinse the foam ones out in hot soapy water then rinse in clean water and hang to dry.

Cheers Roger, I've just rinsed them all now with hot soapy water, and they are on the window sill at work drying.

How do you find the mircofibre applicator pads compared to the foam ones?

As said i have washed mine in very hot soapy water just be aware through after a few washes they tend go go hard, at that point i have binned them.

bin them, get an expensive wax, use your hand to apply 😃
