Right then chaps, where's the pollen filter on your cars. Mine (Vectra) is just under the windscreen below a flap just on top the bulk-head.

A chap who I work with has got a 2.2 SRi Astra and says he's got a bad smell coming into the car when he uses his blower/air-con. He says it smells like cats wee. I was wondering if the pollen filter might need changing??

remove the glove box and there is a pannel with two 5.5mm bolts it is behind this pannel .......

Yep did mine 2 weeks ago, behind the glove box with a load of leafs and crap :lol:

I told him about it today. I doubt he'd join as he's not a true Vauxhall man. He's talking of trading it in for a FD Fcus ST.

I got told that if it smells like cats wee then it is the cat thats on its way out. you should be able to smell all round the car. this is what i got told when i was searching for an astra coupe

better not be in my car then cos all i do is fart in it or is it the cat rofl..
