winstar I know it's a bit of a strange one but I've decided to sell my VXT due to having got a new job that means comutting on the train. So i'm going to keep my original VX but as I nolonger need a comutting car that's good on petrol I'm tempted to get a vectra/astra/zaf as a development mule. Each has it's advantages Zaf low ratio box, Vec's are dirt cheap, Astra Coup has the looks. But the main thing that I want to know is which engine bay that the z22se is fitted to has the most space around it to work on, in particular I'm interested in the space between the engine ehaust ports and the bulk head.
vocky the vectra B seems to have the most access, maybe the zafira has more room under the bonnet but it's harder to access. I fitted the weaponR 4-2-1 to my vecB, I believe the zafira has the room for it too, but the astra hasn't.

If you managed to fit a weapon R then there must be a fair bit of room, not sure of exactly what I want to do yet but I'll be going for std alone/big power.
JohnnyN zafman (Pete) has a 2.2 Zafira and I belive that he's changed the manifold on his car and also the Dr. with the autobox has a bonkers Zafira with a tubular manifold.
