I've had a really annoying ticking noise on start-up from cold for a while now, and its been getting louder :shock:
I've been crapping my pants thinking its the timing chain about to snap, even though its was replaced about 6k miles ago with the rework.
But after a bit of research, I thought I would check the xzorst manifold....... notsure.gif
Heatshield off, no big cracks, but 2 loose bolts that were really loose. So I have tightened all of them, and now the tick has gone 😃
Does this mean I have to replace the gasket at some point?
And for anyone else that has a tick on start, check your manifold bolts before condemning the chain :wink:
