Strange engine noise again.

u know by moving the fpr vacuum pipe from the tb hose to the manifold the car starts up a lot quicker when turning over and i noticed the oil light stays on for like 1/2 second

now i have moved the fpr pipe back to where it should be and put the old tb pipe on the car fires up after turning over for like a second and now i dont get no noise or the oil light staying on

thought i'd share this experience

4.75 Litres is the correct amount, there was a TSB that mentioned this: Service oil quantity (incl. filter change) changed from 5 liter to
4,75 liter. Oil quantity between MIN and MAX on oil level dip-stick
modified from 1 l to 0,75 l. Service literature and owners manual
will be modified accordingly.
Also additives not recommended in these engines and would you believe it there was another TSB related to that also which was: Internal lab and engine test bench investigation revealed that the usage of not released oil additives will cause
an increased engine oil consumption. In some cases the measured oil consumption has increased by 100%.
Modern Opel engines in combination with high quality engine oil do not need additives. Therefore the
usage of any not Opel released engine oil additive is disapproved. All related warranty claims will
be rejected.
I tell you, if you were to see all the TSB's relating to these engines/ cars you'd have nightmares!!
