I'm looking to order some bits from the states, probably from allecotec.com such as rods, pistons, valves etc.
A mate who runs Spitfire Engineering (VX people may have heard the name) has a lot of stuff sent over from California and has said I can have bits sent to his supplier in the states and they will put them in the box with a load of fuel pumps which he is having sent over in a couple of weeks time. They've done this before for him and are happy to do it again. Across US shipping is usually really cheap and I shouldn't have to pay much if anything to get them from the states to here. Being a VAT regged company he's usually quite lucky regarding VAT and often import duty as well.
Does anyone want any bits sent over to the UK? Once they're in the UK a courier to you is only about a fiver with Fastway.
