Simple question!!!

Having had my last question answered, here comes a very simple one.

I`ve not owed my Vectra for long and wish to change the oil (filter) and put some decent plugs in her. Could someone tell me where the filter is situated and how easy are the plugs to get too.

Also, is pumping a small bottle of injector cleaner into my fuel tank a reasonable way of cleaning what I believe to be badly blocked injectors.

Please go easy on calling me a plonker for these simple questions. I promise to post some harder ones as they arise.

Right, your best using vauxhalls plugs and they are not to expensive either. To change them you need to remove the coil pack from the top of the engine, remove the four bolts and lift it away, this will give you access to the spark plugs. As for the oil filter its located on top of the engine at the frount on the right, you should see a large nut, its a bit tricky to remove because the engine covers it slightly, but you should be able to remove it with a spanner.

I think you'll find that Vauxhall do a fuel cleaner called 'Forte'. You just pop it in your tank and it cleans the fuel system including the injectors. Also for the spark plugs, as mentioned above, stay with the Vauxhall plugs.
