i purchased a new veccy C pipe from airbox to to TB and i thought i might mention something to help members who are thinking about doing the mod
i would suggest you get an oil catch tank or move the breather hose somewhere else for starters and do the FPR mod concerning the vacuum hose to the inlet manifold
pull out the AIS sensor from the old air pipe then pull out the rubber seal
oki now with the new pipe cut off the hose connector for the cam breather
get a drill or something similar and start widening the hole that use to be for the breather, roughly about a 5m increase in diameter
push the rubber seal for the AIS into your new widened hole
then put the MAF sensor in as well
ps you might have to widen the rubber seal as the hole might be a bit narrower than before - i used the same method as i did to widen the hole, then used washing up liquid and it is a tight fit 🙂
now you got a decent air pipe without creating holes and the freedom of mind knowing no more sludge on tb, i also used a can of wynns carb cleaner and gave the TB and inlet manifold a good going over, might be worth giving the AIS a quick spray whilst it is out as well
