lowering springs question!

it seems that koni springs seem to be very popular, so im thinking of fitting a set, how much harder do they make the ride compared to standard, this is a family car and the wife already complains at the ride.
next i gather people are fitting the 2ltr springs to the 2.2 ( i know vocky has so hopefully can answer this) if you go by the axle weight you should be fitting the v6 springs why!

i have fitted th ebiach springs to my astra and the ride is fine not harsh at all and lowers enought to look good but can still get over speed bumps and get in and out of multi storie car parks

you should fit the 2.0 16v springs, quite why they say use the v6 springs is a mystery to me

those who have fitted v6 springs have ALL complained of the front end rising up !!!!

my wife has never complained about the koni's on my veccy 2.2, even with bilstein b8 shocks

I've got Eibach springs with Bilstein B8 Dampers. All good.

I had Eibach springs on my Astra, and I also want to get a set for the Vectra as well. Really nice springs, and having been in Mark's Astra (Courtenay Sport) with the springs and Bilstein dampers (same as you have John?) it's a bloody brilliant set up.

I have the Eibachs 50/30 springs from the 2.0 astra, and the ride is rather firm, but i have got a front strut brace and rear adjustable whiteline bar on the hardest setting as well, the missus only ever compalins about the cornering as it doesnt roll.lol

Sorry to hijack the thead, i currently have the v6 springs on my veccy 2.2 (lmf sent me these after giving them the weight) and after fitting 18's the front end sits to high.

So i assume fitting the 2.0 16v springs will sort out the problem, i was told they sent me the v6 ones due to having aircon.

yes mate, we use the 2.0 turbo springs, should drop it nicely.
