New Exhaust Manifold :D:D

Well all my parts turned up on monday so i got to work making it all. and well heres the pics of how it all was and now how it is all finished.
In all it took me aboout 12hrs making it all.

i got it made up at ashley exhauts i am hoping to get it fitted after work today.

lol well i did not know that the exhaust wrap smokes so much at firsts i thought it was fire under my bonnet i shit my self lol. it seems to pull better will have to find a r/r to go on.

I'm still thinking about the exhaust wrap stuff on my manifold. I have heard that the wrap can cause the manifolds to crack or would that only be on a cast manifold?

i have just done 700miles with it on this weekend and it makes such a difference, the only thing with the wrap that annoyed me was it smoking like mad for about 250miles thought my engine was on fire lol.
i just want to find a r/r to see if its done anyhting now.

as u see the pipes in the last pic matt that is how they arrived. i just had to cut them in to the right shape.
and yey i did do all the welding my self. i was quite chuffed lol

Did they take a copy of your design, can they reproduce it? I would like one.

no sorry mate i did not get them to make a copy atm i have it off my car just checking it all over and sorting out any bits i dont like make it a bit neater.
i ran it on my car for 1k m and seemed ok. i am off to a r/r next week to see if any better
