Hoping someone can help me out.
I recently purchased what was suppose to be a 2.2 TB from Ebay US. The description stated 2.2 and the photo was of a 2.2 TB, exactly like the one on my engine. I got it so I could port it without the risk of leaving my car immobile.
Anyway, long story short (cos this guy screwed me around royally!); I received a TB alot different to the one pictured in the auction ad.
The one I got looks like this:
As you can see there are some major differences, mainly the plug is on the other side, as in left to right, and on the underside (the outlet).
After rasing the issue with the seller, he finally admitted to sending a different item than the one pictured in his auction, but tells me this is off the SC model and will fit if I use a spacer so the plug will clear. He even stated that the wiring is the same.
Now, after all the BS I've heard from this guy, I don't believe a word he says.
Does anyone know what this TB actually is?
I just measured it quickly and got around 66-67mm.
I've had enough trying to get what I actually paid for, just wondering if I should try and make it work, of just chuck it and get another one.
