Go for it mate. All in all, including cleaning the weels, that was 3 hours work. The good thing with the hammerite I found, that while it says allow 1 hour between coats, it dries really quick, and I could give the second coat on the extra bits I painted after I'd finished cleaning the weel....about 20 minutes.
1 tip as well, get a nice small artists paint brush, it will make it so much easier to get into all the little areas.
