not sure if this is the right section for this post, but anyway.
just wanted to tell you that vauxhall have a new field remedy for the 22se and 22yh timing chain tensioner.
basically for a rattling timing chain they are fitting the tensioner from the 2.0 turbo lump (z20neh) and if the chain is already elongated then they
are replacing the chain aswell,
this is covered under vx warranty as long as the car is under 6 years old and has done less than 60k,
ive just had the new tensioner fitted on my coupe as both the complete chain kits (including new tensioner) were only changed in sept 07
and it was starting to rattle again when starting the engine.
if you car is not in the warrant period then i think the tensioner itself is about £40.
i will try and get a partnumber if poss.
