Yeah thats the box i have! The CRD2 (red) was fitted to 2 other Astra`s on the rollers, both got 199 BHP but the torque was around 345 lbs/ft.
As others have mentioned the EGR valve i think you might be right. Many fail around 15k miles and mine is at 13k, it has been a bit smokey and what feels like very small misfires over the last few weeks. Well tbh i hope it is the EGR valve cos i`d rather it go now while its under warrenty, there meant to be a new design too!
The new EGR I have on mine does look slightly different to the old one externally, God knows what they will have done to the internals. Mine is on 41k, so it's not done bad!
What does the misfire feel like Andy, as I'm still getting used to the engine, and having had issues with it already, want to make sure it's running OK (can you tell I'm paranoid??)
