After fitting new chains and lifters my engine is really quiet, so quiet in fact that I can hear the powersteering pump making a bit of a racket !
Not too sure if it was making a noise before I changed the chains, but it's up to the mark with fluid, and I can't really see why it's noisy, it was just unbolted and lowered down onto the rad hose whilst I worked on the chain gear ?
Is there any serviceable parts to the pump, or if it has bought the farm do I need to sell a kidney to buy a new one from VX ?
