old_cruiser Is it normal when you pull away in 1st to hear a sort of growling/grunting sound coming from what i think is the exhaust, strangely more noticeable inside the cabin than out with the windows down if you see what I mean, BTW the exhaust is in good condition with no holes Cheers Pete
Martyn well i have 2.2 astra sri and that does the same mostly in high revs of all gears sounds nice tho. so i would say aaaaa yeaaaahss .

edbutler Yeah when you pull away, the exhaust will resonate at low frequency due to the low RPM, its probably the flexi. May be worth getting someone outside to have a listen, as a loose bracket further downstream could also cause it..?
