ADSL Modem packed up

Last night my Thomson SpeedTouch 510 adsl modem packed so no internet for a few days until i can get another ordered. This one hasn't done bad as i have had it running more or less 24/7 since Nov 2002.

I'm looking at a Thomson SpeedTouch 546, just need a adsl modem nothing fancy like wireless as i have a wireless access point already.

Anyone got any recommendations?

I like Netgear equipment, haven't bought anything for a while though

Netgear or Lynksys for me i never had a problem with speedtouch apart from the poor wireless coverage.

although lynksys is ment to be better but iv bought netgear recently... why dont you just buy a netgear router with built in modem much better than stand alone modem

Agree with above, cant go wrong with Netgear.
