How do you know its TDC, I take it that means Top Dead Centre???.

And is it cylinders 1 and 4??

So when these are TDC then do i fit the cam chain???

yes it's 1+4 at tdc, I use a long screwdriver in a spark plug hole, when it's at the highest spot it's tdc.

also the timing chain sprockets only fit on one way, so as long as the timing marks are aligned = job done

So when its TDC will the bottom timing mark be right to line up the purple link??

should be, you can always turn the crank to align the woodruff key in the bottom sprocket if required
