I purchased my 2001 x reg vectra sri 150 2 weeks ago and after hearing the horror stories about the chains i got directed here from vvoc, Ive owned a calibra for the last five years so im not used to the sound or what sound i should listen for if the chain needs replacing???
She is very quiet when driving and from cold start up, the only time ive ever noticed a noise from the drivers side on start up, is when the car has already been running at normal temp and say i pop into a shop etc, when i restart there is a noise that lasts approx 2 secs at the longest from the drivers side, this only happens when engine is warm.
