Whats the longest hours you have done in your day at work? I did my longest day the other day at 17 and a half hours. I started at 5:00am and finished at 10:30pm construction.gif sleep.. . Thats the longest day I have ever worked. A few days later I did another long one, starting at 5:30am and finishing at 9:30pm.

i used to work in a vauxhall dealership years ago and when the plate change was aug 1st me a couple of the lads started work at 8.30am july 31st and went straight thru untill 4.30pm on the 1st of aug so that was 32 hours and all because some people wana pick there car up at midnight to be the first on the road with the new reg plate lol must admit i do remember grabing 40 winks in the back of a brand new omega elite estate with the heaters on full but it ran outa petrol and went cold lol

when i worked in retail , i done 18hrs one day as when the shop closed had to do a stocktake, thus why i got out of retail.

18 for me. A bloke that I work with just done 29.5 hours straight last week to get an urgent job out.

One midday on a Friday our Boss called us in to the crewroom told us to call our folks/loved ones.....that evening we were bundles on to a Hurcules on our way to Italy, we worked through the night and the following day to prep 4 Jets to do a show of force during the end of the Bosnia conflict...probably around 36 hours work.
The main bonus was, after the 1 flight they had to apply for clearance to fly again...took 5 days...stuck in a 4 star hotel...what a pain lol

I worked 18 hours from 7am to 1am when the floods were on, and I was back in for 7am the following morning for a 12 hour shift. All in 30 hours out of 36. My work did pay for a meal for me and the wife to say thank you after as well

very often in my old job, we would do a 12 hr shift, take an hr out then work another 12 hrs, and again, most i think is 48 all in. the pay was worth it tho.

Looks like we all have done a good few hours hard graft at our jobs. Before the job I have now I used to do a few 12 hours shifts, nothing as much as the job I am on now. I tend to do a few Saturdays and Sundays now also.
