MikeS the earth points in engine bay top right hand side of engine undo each one and check your drain we should really start from the earth points and work your way backwards also unplug the ecu from its connectors and check drain
JohnnyN All door pins and boot pin disconnected today and boot bulb removed. Still don't know what that Green relay under the passenger airbag does? I know that it clicks when you push & pull fuse 13. I also know that when you pull out the Green relay it sends my meter to 0.000 amps.
MikeS lol why didnt u say just get another relay from under the fuse box and plug it in and see if u still get an amp drain and see if it clicks when u pull the fuse remember to keep your doors shut when doing this as f13 is for your courtesy lights
JohnnyN I'll have a look next weekend now. I've just read your PM too. I do have an upgraded stereo system in my car. Alpine headunit, Alpine steering wheel control interface, amplifier and twin 12" JBL's.
MikeS u got the part number for the green relay i can look it up on my epc as for your stereo does it work when the ignition is off ?
JohnnyN Stereo is wired for permenant live. I've linked the Red and Yellow wires with the bullet connectors that form part of the loom from the back of the headunit.
MikeS one is for switched ignition and the other is for permanent ignition wired up to a thick black wire ? get me part number 4 relay d00d as i got vxhall epc on my pc
JohnnyN UPDATE Just over 2 weeks now with fuses 13 & 34 removed and the car starts just as it should. On the button!
JohnnyN There's a multitude of circuits coming off of those fuses. Just need to spend some more time pin pointing it.
MikeS cant remember wot i said 🙂 f13 is your courtesy lights in the car - boot light f34 is your car stereo & instrument panel & traction control 😛
