well im finaly having the intake air altered as mark has it in his astra.

im also having poly's all round fitted with a bit of luck, and with anymore luck(and the cash) ill be getting the exhaust done either up there or before.

Another 3 grand out of the bank lol but it will be worth it.

i will be able to got to trax if anyone on here is still interested in going as i cant go to any of the other shows this year due to commitments, which is why ive not been around on here much, but i will be as of now.

the new style intake should free up some more bhp 🙂

ask Jon to fit the front gearbox mount as per JohnnyN's sc conversion, should help stop the exhaust snapping issue !

Why another 3k??

I never had the front gear box mount done on mine in the end because the gearbox had to come out so that you could drill the holes into the casing. But if you can get it done then it would be worth it.

well the intake alone is costing around £1200 and the exhaust mods around £800 then there is the poly bush work and a few other bits.
soon adds up.
anyway courtenays have always done the work on my car and has always been ok.im a great believer in you get what you pay for in this world and i wont let anyone else touch it.

so whats this gear box mount work you are talking about??

the intake price comes from all the mods to the wiring loom and the new battery and other bits. Your engine might look like mine then soon? The gearbox mount is from an astra and sits at the front to stop the engine moving about.

SHould sound and feel a hell of alot better mate, 3k is alot, but like you said they aer the only that have ever worked on your car, so a shame to stop now. Post some pics when done.

oh i will dont worry mate.shes not going up there till 23rd august so its a while yet.
