I tried both ways as I was advised that there is no right way to fit them. One way is for fast road use and the other for fast race? The fast race is a far more aggressive bite on the pad for track use and they are louder than the normal way of fitting.
Either way they shook the steering terribly. I did the carefull gentle braking and then I went for a ride up the motorway to try an give the battery a charge and it was when I came off the slip road that I felt the shaking until I slowed down to 50mph and it stopped. I then carried on again and all was fine until I got over 50mph and tried slowing down and it was shaking again. I checked everything over and tried again today and it was still the same. I swapped the discs over to opposite sides and the braking was still the same.
