I am getting it ready to remove the cam chain soon. Do I have to strip it much more? Vauxhall did well making this car, as removal of the engine seems very easy. It would pull straight out forward if needed. I was looking down near the pully wheels the alt belt is on, and it seems pretty oily down there. The wheels have oil on them and some oil on my alternator. I removed the pipe from the engine (throttle body) and it had some slight signs of creamy stuff I found in the engine. One thing I don't like is the brackets all over the engine go rusty :roll: . I think I will paint them with some heat paint. I think I should have the cam chain kit next week
