Help needed urgently!

Yesterday I had done over 100 miles driving about comes home 5 mins later go to start again but the car is dead does not even turn over??

Ever thing in side is sort of flickering and all i can hear is one of the purple relays clicking away?

Anyone got any ideas the battery has a green light on top still/

I was thinking maybe battery but if it's showing green it must have a charge. Try a set of jump leads on it to make sure it's not the battery, as thats the main thing why a car flickers trying to start it. Not enough power to fire it up

I thought this last night so left it on charge but its the same?

It's really wierd as it's never ever struggled to fire up

maybe the starters jammed?? i had a 309 few years ago and the Solenoid on the starter used to fail, when u tried to start the car it used to act like the battery was flat, the lights on the dash would dim but nothin happened, couple of taps wi a spanner r hammer used to free up the solenoid an car used to start no problem.

Hijust replaced battery it now turns over but still does not start?

How do i a papercip test?

you cannot do the paperclip test on the z22se ecu

you might have a blown fuse, duff relay or something

is the eml light flashing ?

All fuses seem fine the eml i will check but the car and spanner light does flash

sounds like an immobiliser problem, try the spare key

if not then get a tech2 reader to check the codes

The car does have a spark and there is fuel at the nipple bit at the front.

What does the immobilser usally stop fuel or the spark?

Should I now be thinking the worst CHAIN??

to eliminate the chain, remove the cam cover and check that the chain is tight

Im hoping to do a compression test today if it has compression what do you think will be next as the battery is new its sparking fuel is there?

Gutted if it's the chain what costs are involed in all the work?

compression should be 174 - 218 psi or 12 - 15 Bar

cost me bout 450 quid i think to get mine built after the chain went, that included parts aswell, hope its not the chain mate
