Welcome to the C club mate. The earlier the reg the better speced they are, although with yours being a SE and not a YH you should scrape through. Canbus is a sod, buttons on the steering wheel mean half and rolers mean full canbus. the C is a bit heavy for the 2.2 but it can still shift and is a great motorway muncher. Expect to see 26 mpg around town though with all that weight. TC is always active but if you pull the blanking plug and there is a little blue plug behind it you can buy the switch from dealer for about £8 to deactivate it, although its a gamble if it works and Tech 2 cant enable the switch if it doesnt. The airbag modal is located under the center console inbetween the handbrake and gear stick. you have bags in the wheel, passenger side dash, both front seats and curtain bags. You also have active head restraints, but they are mechanical so wont need changing. No rear electric windows only fronts, AC some have ESP but highly unlikely in the 2.2. Brakes are a little soft 285mm for the car but you can get he GSi 314's for about £300 from LMF, there is a thread running on the C forum about further upgrading the 314's to VXR 345's with just Disk, pad and Caliper carrier bracket but using GSi caliper.
I'd say unless your thinking about putting the XP kit in the facelift stick with the Pre and get some Signum Fog Surrounds to lift it a bit. When getting tyres get th 225/45/17 as there cheaper than the stock 215/50/17 and there actually in the handbook as an alternative.
