Avg free 8 Issues....

I have been running this ever since they discontinued 7.5 free..

All of a sudden in the control pannel i am getting this message: Antivirus: Database is outdated and the same with the antispyware??

Anyone have any ideas?? I have unistalled and installed a new version and still the same? Also I have updated it manually and it says no current up dates?

Everthing else is running fine in the over view apart from these two things what..

Also i did install avast but its not compatiable with zone alarm for some reason?

Any ideas people? Cheers ian 8)

Have you checked on Google to see if there is anything listed on there for this issue? Usually if there is a known issue with AVG, you'll be able to find out on there

This was the problem :-(

Check your system date and time
Windows XP or 2000

* either double-click on the time display in the lower-right corner of the screen
* or open Start - Settings - Control Panel - Date and time
* make sure the date and time are set correctly

Dont know how i managed to change that :-(

MIne won't conect to the net and update? and if i try and search the web with Yahoo and not the tool bar at the top of the page i get a a error page?

i just put avgfree 8.0 on this lappie, its the only protection i got on here as well, should be plenty, (hopefully). On the main comp, i have spybot and destroy, avg free 8.0, adaware, and something else.
