I own a 2.2 SRi 'X' reg and had the dreaded timing chain rattle as confirmed by a Vauxhall mechanic over the weekend. On driving it home steadily the rattling noise has gone. Although that is good it is probably going to happen again so replacing it would be the best option. I have seen in the forum that 'Benny' is the expert at doing this, where is he based and what's the best way to contact him. Also are there any other recommendations for a good mechanic who could do the work in the Sussex area--thanks.
