Hoping its just my flexi gone again, symptoms much the same, rasp when giving it some. Been on since August last year, done around 18k.
Its not uncommon as i was told by Ashley Exhausts for them to fail within a few mile/days if they are not welded up correctly. The down pipe needs to be mated to manifold and exhaust under its own load, then tacked, removed and fuly welded. Also said they have no faith in them and offer no guarantee.
Original was on 5 years around 69k.
Should have cooled down now, i'll go and have a butchers.
