I've just been watching Panorama this evening and it was about all the troops like yourself that are out fighting this eternal war. I've got to say that I salute you for the job that you and the boys are doing for this country and for what you are doing for the innocent people in these war torn places. I know that this may sound a bit daft to you and to some others but seeing what is going on and how you cope with the fear and emotion of being away from your families makes me feel sick inside. I'll never be able to comprehend what you are going thru' along with your collegues.

I can't wait to meet you one day and shake your hand.

Cheers guys, feel like nothing compared to the guys out in the field, actually fighting in these heats, Ive a air-con cabin to service kit in, the ground crew work their arse of to get the jets airbourne and the pilots do the 8 hour reccy of hostile places.....being away from the familys the worst bit...God Im missing my little girl. Thanks a million for the kind words...really means a lot. Just wish the work were doing out here made more of a difference.... policing violent countries and loosing so many young service personnel, not right.
We can train for OP Pabay, which is coffin bearers out here for Op Telic & Herrick personnel passing back to the UK...too hard hitting for me.
Footballers & singers on millions to fund drug habits whilst young soldiers are loosing their lives for war striken countries......I could rant for ages....

Cheers again guys, but its really only hot / hard work out here at the moment, Kandahars the other detatchment we support at the where body armour and helmet are a must when transiting between sections, morters are flying in on sometimes a daily basis.....thats one Im NOT looking fwd to. :?
Works picking up a bit now, yesterday was a 16hr day trying to get a Pod serviceable for todays sortie....still unserviceable in the cabin.....so we`re in again....on a down day (no flying)....
Having problems with the generator that powers the cabin hence.....the forum showo.. (a real lifesaver) 8)
YEAH powers back...... cryb.. WORK!!!!!!!
