Z22se Oil Problem...

hi Guys, i wondering if you know whats happenin with this ?

my 2.2 150 sri runs like a dream - had a new chain and pistons fitted and i have no problems.

only prob is she drinks oil. - i mean dependin what i put in it. like shell helix - its drinks that. but magnatec its not too bad.

i mean i changed oil in jan and now it was on the low mark. there are no signs of leak in engine bay nor on the floor. i have a carpeted garaged so i would know.

wheres it all going ? like i said she runs fine. and recently i found the flexi pipe blowin which is to be replaced soon - would that cause it ?

i know these engines runs hot but to burn off oil ?

also i have a remus centre pipe and magnex back box plus no precat.

any help would be great.

Mine also drinks oil but then again they all do, it depends on if you put your foot down alot

some told me to get shut of the car as thats not supposed to happen - i have a mate who as a astra 2.2 - same engine and hes not had to put a drop of oil in his and yes i put my foot down alot..

use a good oil should help on useage and vaux say a litre every 1000 miles but this can be more on short journeys
