If I remember correctly there are 3 ODB protocols around the world...
And GM in the US uses a different one then GM (Opel, vauxhall, saab etc.) in Europe. what..
But I think the available OBD readers automatically detect what protocol is used.
And back to the New ECU story:
Yesterday I received a package from the US, containing a P12 PCM from a 2006 Cobalt SS LSJ engine. 😃
So now I have a complete 2004 LSJ engine, the engine wire loom, a P12 PCM and even a cut off pcm connector for the car wiring loom... Together with some PCM scheme's the puzzle should be complete now.
