Anyone changed the mesh in their prodrive front bumpers? If so to what cos the normal black mesh u can buy is just sprayed and chips at the first stone!!

allright m8 ive got a gunmetal silver finish on my front grille suits the star silver on my car very well

Need it black really as me car is black, has anyone had some mesh powder coated before?

youd be cheaper of just getting new mesh cut to the size u want eventually the colour will fade anyway it should only cost about £15 for new mesh

Colour will fade. Give over silver mesh is silver end of it aint gonna change to black, red or pink over several weeks is it! rofl..

Use expanded aluminium mesh, you can get black anodised stuff from Savage. the finish is a little dull. Or use silver mesh. Leave it outside for a while until it loses its shine, clean it up use Hammerite special metals Primer (for Aluminium) give it a couple of coats then paint it with Hammerite smooth black again a couple of coats.
