I havn't checked timing as yet, ive another post on here about my vectra troubles, i removed the camcover thinking the timing chain had gone but its fine and is getting lubricated ok. I'll check the timing mate and see wots wot but its very strange and just doesnt sound right. it was at the main dealer 3 weeks before it went like this for a lack of power, miss fire, and poor mpg. I honestly expected the chain to have broke so was surprised to see it hadnt. the vectras only done 42,000 miles. Cheers Andy.
