rushy So whats this lump then, is it the ecotec 2.4 the yanks have? Looked under the bonnet of one today but the plastic engine cover is huge and bolted on so couldn't see anything. What I did see was the head flowed the other way, the lump was still transverse but the intake was at the rear end the zorst manifold came out of the front. Intake looked just like ours but was ally and the timing side of the lump was still drivers side.
vocky the ecotec 2.4vvt looks similar to the z22se according to a pic I looked at of the chev 2.4 it isn't the ecotec 2.4vvt we know what.. this is the ecotec 2.4vvt......
