It's time to drag the old beast out again, I just spent two hours cleaning it and removed the battery last night to charge. I put the battery in and tied to start it but there is what sounds like a relay clicking.
It's never done it before. I opened it up and there is a feed into the relay? from the battery which then goes on into the starter motor. The top surface has what looks like a big contact that the cover plates sits touching. I've tried cleaning it all up etc but it just keeps clicking, any ideas?
