puma remote key

my girlfreind changed the battery in her ford puma key fob now you cant lock the car or unlock it with the remote i checked and she had put the battery in right 😃 anybody got any ideas please dunno..

most likely got to reprogram it m8 on the vaux u put it in postion 2 on the ignition barrel and press the lock button on the key try all 3 positions

i think if you turn the key in the door aswell and press the lock/unlock button

Depends which key you have Infra red or radio frequancy remote?
The infra red has 2 buttons Lock/unlock and radio has 3 lock/unlock and boot?
they can both be done but a lot of instructions so let me know which you have first.
the start of one set of instructions says close all doors and fasten all seat belts and so on lol

Superb - not a particular quick car, but has brilliant handling, great brakes, slick gear changes and a responsive engine (the pops and crackles on overun made it sound like a rally car). Oh, and the sparco seats are extremely comfortable!

One of the best fwd cars I've driven! The downside was the poor build quality (the vx220 is no better though) and costs/availability of parts - the 4 pot alcon calipers /discs cost an absolute fortune to maintain!

Sold mine about 4 years ago to make way for the vx220.
