Hi all,
I was told about a month ago my head gasket is on its way out, I've been having problems for ages with the car and on top of this its burning about 2ltrs of oil a week.
My question is, if my head gasket had gone would my car not be over heating by now? the temp gauge has not budged so far and all ways stays at the half way mark.
There is some sludge in the expansion tank and the coolant did drop off once but I have topped it off and it seems ok?
Im very confused and concered as It looks like I have a big bill to pay out.
