I don't know what its like in Britain, but in Sweden ethanol (E85) is a mega hit. From July 1st it will be legal to convert your car to E85 (flexifuel). This is an opportunity to gain extra horse power legally. However, some modifications has to be made (like a remap) since an E85 car uses 40% more fuel.
Has anybody looked into converting the Z22SE to E85 ??
What would be the critical parts to replace for it: 1. to work properlly 2. to also gain extra bhp. What about the fuel pump for example, will it keep up with a 40% increase in fuel consumption? More importantly, will it keep up if you go flat out so that extra power can be achieved ??
Other parts that need / should be upgraded?? What do you guys think??
