car cleaning help....

This is the usual for me about 2-3 times a yr,.... rest of the yr washed only once a month...if that.

The wheels have been freshly painted.

Wash the car twice with meguirs shampoo, then stage 2, then stage 3, do i need to AG before i stage 3?....then back to black inside dash, and some cheap rubber restorer for the outside window rubbers etc.
What shall i use on the wheels and suede seats??

The car cannot be resprayed now before the ptm show, so i need a wax/sealant to cover up the stone chips on the front, plus it needs to be from halfords or motorworld as havent got time to order nothing.
Edit: i really need a very hard protective wax on the front bumper as it gets alot abuse from stones as it is soo low.

Why AG before Stage 3??

Clay bar, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 OR Megs NXT wax. Why haven't you got time to order anything? Only takes a couple of days from order to delivery from Polished Bliss. Poorboys EX-P is what you need.

cheers guys, i want to give it a few coats of wax before sunday, will the natty's hide some of the stone chips?
I was thinking of AG extra resin thingy to give that deep look under the wax.

Washed it 3 times today with turtlewax shampoo to get it clean and bare, chamois dry, used wonder wheels tyre dressing on the tyres, good stuff, does what it say, polished and hovered the inside, boot and engine bay, then went over everything with wonder wheels interior shine, again quite good stuff, does what it says.

Tomorrow, wash again to get night dust off, then chamois dry, stage 1, stage 2, wait an hr, stage 2 again, then stage 3 every day until sat. What can i use on my wheels to protect them and make em shiny, and stay shiny?

Stage 3. Personally I don't use Wonder Wheels on my wheels. Just Meguires NXT shampoo and then Megs NXT Wax. Wonder Wheels is far too aggressive on the wheel surface for my liking. It contains hydrochloric acid. That burns into the wheel surface finish. Bollocks if i'd let that near my car!

The best tyre dressing to use is also another Meguires product. Endurance Gel. Bloody fantstic stuff as is all Meguires products.

Cheerrs Johnny, will go shopping in the morning for the endurance gel, whats the difference between, stage 3 and nxt wax then?

I didnt wonder wheels the cleaner, just the tyre dressing, didntt want to use the cleaner as they are freshly painted.

I think Johnny is thinking that you are using the wonder wheels "wheel Cleaner" which i would not reccomend at all. The tyre dressing is ok but can run making your fresh rims a magnet for dust, I much prefer the megs endurance gel.

TBH i would not really bother with AG unless you are going to use Super resin and then extra gloss which is a great combo.

Nattys wax wont really hide stone chips.

EXP as always a great sealant.

Stage 3 is just a basic wax, it is fine if thats all you have but nxt and the likes of nattys p21 etc are much better.

If you keep on top of your wheels now there should be no reason to use any wheel cleaner on them.

If you do some shopping throw the chamios and get yourself a decent drying towel.

i would use stage 2 then use the new nxt 2 .you will probably have to order it online though, oh then use ultimate quick detailer every week, to keep it looking really good.

stage 3 is a poor carnuba wax, nxt is a sealant.
