hi all , im thinking off getting a new system.. but not 100% sure what style back box for my facelift 2.2 sri any ideas, plus like everybody , i dont really want to spend silly money.. cheers guys !

Have a look at the 2.5 inch Magnex catback system. Very good quality but only an oval tail pipe to choose from on the backbox.

I fitted new 2.5 inch Magnex catback system last week, and mine has a twin 3" slash cut back box dunno..

I got mine HERE

If you don't do ebay, you can ring 0115 978 1173 and order it over the phone 😃

I'm chuffed to bits with it, sounds great, and you can feel a difference through the rev range over my Remus !!

thanks for feedback m8.. have you got any pics .. its just i have the facelift model 2.2 will it go straight on or will anything have to be cut i.e bumper like it says ??

Your's will already have the cut out in the rear bumper as i believe all face lift bumpers are the same, unless you have the valance added on.

All vec B mid pipes and tailpipes are the same except for 1.6 8v but you never see them floating about so I wouldnt worry

As l1ghtn1ng said, it'll fit straight on a facelift rear bumper with the cut out, no mods required.

I'll take a pic later and post it up 😃

i am going to see about having a duplex with twin pipes on the back of mine, what do i need to specific regarding the backboxes, as i want them for power and looks not much sound, only deep burbleing.

Must have missed this one! Twin Slash is gurt lush!! drool.gif

Remus centre is a waste of time IMO! Been there and can honestly say, don't bother. Until you have a proper exhaust system you'll never know what you're missing.

Here's the Magnex twin 3" slash cut, it fit straight on a facelift with no mods the the bumper.

and I know the car is filthy, but I swear I washed it last night at 7 :roll:
