Leaking Boot

Hi All,

This is just a query really to see if anyone else has had this problem with their Vectra B...

Basically there is a water leak into the boot from somewhere, so much so that it is staying in the passenger side of the boot, making it very damp, and causing some mould puke..

Is this because the runners along the roof are not properly getting rid of the water? its really annoying and I can't sort it out, I have tried clearing the gutters from the roof, but the water still gets in there and I don't know how...

Any ideas?

Had exactly the same problem with my old vec b 2.2 ending up p/x ing it for an astra 2.2 sri, as I got rear ended, got that repaired but never managed to stop it from leaking. Have you got someone to hose it down while you`re inside the boot? The reg aint X906 GFA is it?

No its a 51 plate mate, and it does seem to be coming from around the rear light seal... How can I sort it out? I know its coming to summer but come winter it will be letting more water in...

Should I just use some sealant from the inside? Or will the rear lense need to be replaced?
