he said it wasnt getting enough air in at top end, he said mainly because the air intake is at the back and that he couldnt get the blower down there..

i dont know how true it is but thats what he says..

he said it pulled very very very well from bottom to mid and up but died out quick top end...

ill let the guys in the know tell me how good/bad this graph is.

p.s. he measured in 4th gear at the wheels.

ive not got the manifold on yet so its standard bar the ported TB

Just looking in the Power Chart thread, Jamee has 143whp

Jamee = 175 bhp (143 whp)

So you basicaly a standard car with standard power there then.....good benchmark to start from.....

Jamee's made 143 bhp at the wheels which is what a standard car makes at the fly....

now you see we asked him soo many times where its measured from and he said its at the wheels, im going to get the manifold on and take it to another place..

he did stress tho that because he couldnt get air to the intake it was lacking at top end. he said it made 10 bhp over 1k revs and should ov made 20 - 25.

Was he getting confused as it's measured at the wheels, but then the fly is calculated by also measuring the transmission loss on the way back down

I would imagine its at the fly...as a a ported tb alone aint gonna give you around 178bhp at the fly....

no i agree with you entirely.. i said to everyone that it wasnt an WHP result and they just sorta said oh rite.. and made me look stupid.. prolly coz they wanted to have more BHP than they did.

thats a good result if it is right, but sadly i dont think its at the wheels, still a good point to start with, now at least once you have modded it, you will be able to tell how much you have gained.
