chris_uk did nothing to my car today apart from fiddle with the clutch bled valve, now i get P0340 come up, i erased it then it came back again after the car was off for about 10 mins.. no idea what it could be that i have touched.
richard i think the code is camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction p0340 maybe youve pulled a wire off or knocked something i would check back over the area you were working to look for any sign of pulled off wires etc
benny these engines dont have a cam shaft sensor fitted ..unless its a 2.2yh ......i would say either number 1 spark plug has had its day ..or you have damaged the wiring loom that goes to the dis pack ..or the dis pack is faulty ... ....try swopping a spark plug over ...or trying the plug on the dis pack for beeing loose ....hope this helps
chris_uk the small pipe from the induction pipe that goes to the fuel rail thing was disconnected.. everytime i erased the fault it would be fine until it went over 2k revs.. ive reattached it but not been back out.
benny strange ....very strange new one on me ive seen a few cars running around with these broken as the pipe gets older they tend to fracture ..good it is working ok now ..you shure your code reader read the correct code number, ....
