Turbo upgrade all GM parts

was this for sale just before christmas?? as i enquired about this conversion and was under the impression after speaking with mark at courtenay's that they are unable to do a remap for the conversion?? but if i am wrong and it is now possible I two would be very interested in this kit!!!

If I were to fit this, I would use an aftermarket ecu that is readily mappable.

All other hardware is included, so is quite a simple swop out.

so wish i had the funds availiable for this conversion as this would bring back my love for my coupe so for now it will stay retired in my garage :thumbdown:

if you've still got it this time next week ill have it (waiting for a cheque to clear) , pending whether i can get my ecu mapped to suite. how much would postage be?

I went and saw jon & mark of courtenay
and explained the situation
mark statement "we have not mapped one"
Jon statement "correct, but we will be able too re-map"

difficult to say with any degree of certainty
but potentially 200-250 in the correct hands

the thing is "the correct hands (me) is not interested in turbo"

They didn't say it was imposible i must admit. but Mark couldn't give a price He said they would charge £95 per hour and had no idea how long it would take and there was no guarantee it could be done on the standard ECM :shock:
but that was on the z22se ECM but as you say stand alone is the way to go

Can this mod be fitted into astra g coupe including the change of the inlet? Will it fit?

Can I also use the intercooler from z20 with pipes? and if I don't remap will it run normally? I am not looking for maximum power output...

it would be a tight squeeze but yes they do fit in the engine bay with some beating/modifying of the bulkhead,
clutch line needs moving too, also no room for the z20net cat you can unclip the fuel lines and move em easily.

Looks like it'd take the better part of a long weekend to do. But, yeah definitely a very interesting project.

Would anything else need to be uprated to cope with the additional power?

maybe clutch and gearbox,(i have the z20net but on the origional f23 clutch and g.box)
the handling feels fine except maybe i want something a little stiffer.(i could still be getting used to boost mind) other than that i dont really know, i still have my fingers crossed on mine.
im sure once im back to the rolling road ill be much happier.
its in the back of my mind it'll chew it up but the engine would have to come out again either way if i change it so ill just see if it pops! nothing ventured nothing gained!
(at least ill be some way ahead of you for any precautionary warnings!) 😃
