a mate once told me baby oil was a good way to get the glue off and they were told this by somebody who tints windows for a living
dont know how true this is as never tried it

Yea ecky never heard of that mate but don't doubt the guy knows what he's talking about!
I tried everything from turps,glue remover to fairy up liquad but found the turps worked the best doing it on circular motions I tried scraping it of with a big stanley blade but was taking ages to get a small section off and then still needed going over with the turps or that to take the last of the crap off I had to take it to a VOSA Place up near me where the guy that was in the back of the traffics car came out and checked it luckily the guy was allright as the car had been de-catted it was a Custom 4-2-1 Exhaust manifold I had made up without the cat that is on the 1.6&1.8s and a straight through pipe when I was having the windows checked luckily a guy jumped a set of red lights so the 2 traffics ran over to him the mechanic said to hem it was cool just deal with that guy as they wanted to check the emissions but the guy just stuck it in the traffics exhaust :shock: so when I took the car up to have the windows checked I gave the guy a bottle of wisky... 😃

The car's going in sunday to have the front bumper, rear bumper, bonnet, doors, mirrors and base plates, and my new reigar rear top window spoiler, boot spoiler being fixed and resprayed, and have the jacking points cut out of the bottom of the sideskirts enabling me to use a jack, also a full mop all over. Not gonna have the badge/boot done yet, havent got the money as he wants a ton just for the boot.
