Looking good Simon up to your usual standards mate 8)
What did you make of the Type R mate?
And what's up with your beby mate or what's she getting done to her matey???
Alan
Ohhh tut tut Simon you missed a bit  in the inside of the doors not like you mate!!!!
Yep i spotted that too, i think it's polish dust , well maybe
Mate my car has is having all front bushes done, arb bushes, engine mount, track rods ,track rod ends. pollen & fuel filters. manifold. Front pads i think thats about it notsure.gif 4 wheel laser alignment done.
As for the type R frist time i drove it i wasnt impresed. but been back out in it. my view.
It is way faster then the astra, but alot less torquey. Much faster on accel response. The seats really hold you in and with the big windscreen and where the front pillers are you get a much better view.
But the seats may be comfy but if you go to relax you carnt you feel like you are pinned in a racing postion and thats it so on long journey may get a bit uncomfy.
I found the brakes to be pritty poor, maybe they needed changing dunno..
The engine just wants to rev and go all the time. I thought i was only doing about 3,000rpm in third and i was 5,000! then a bit more and the v-tec kicks in and the all the way to 8 and bit.
I think you would get used to it after a bit but it is just very different to the Astra or Clio sport.
As for handling it is like the Astra but with the solidness of the clio thrown in brilliant!. throw it into a corner and it just sticks no body roll no feeling like it was going break away it was point and go 😃.
